BritPro- Tone X
Based on the 65 Amps London Pro – Classic British Tone, Refined
The BritPro is built on the foundation of the 65 Amps London Pro, an amp that blends some of my favorite British circuits into something unique. With an EF86-driven channel for bold, harmonically rich tones and a 12AX7 channel for chimey, articulate cleans, it covers a lot of ground while always feeling dynamic and responsive.
It’s an amp that takes pedals well but also holds its own straight in. If you’re after something that sits somewhere between classic British chime and thicker, vintage crunch, this one hits that sweet spot.
What’s Inside
10 captures using each channel and mic
Both channels captured – EF86 for bold mids and harmonic depth, 12AX7 for articulate cleans
Mics used for captures:
Shure SM57 – classic bite and presence
Sennheiser 421 – rich mids and depth
AKG 414 – full, balanced clarity
Royer 121 – smooth, natural warmth
Works great with pedals – dialed for clarity, punch, and dynamics
Why This Pack
The 65 Amps London Pro was designed to capture the essence of some of the greatest vintage British amps, but with a refined, more focused sound. The BritPro Pack brings that feel into a digital format, with all the warmth, punch, and harmonic detail that makes this kind of amp so inspiring to play.
It’s one of those amps that just feels right under your fingers, whether you’re running it clean, pushing it with a drive pedal, or letting it break up naturally.
Hope you dig it.
