BC MD40 + FireCat (Signature Stereo Pack) Quad Cortex
If I could only use one setup, this would be one of the top contenders. The MD40 and FireCat running in stereo, with the drives I actually use, all dialed in and ready to go. No endless tweaking—just plug in and play.
I’ve also captured a Neve 1073 preamp—because I run my amps through one all the time, and I wanted this to sound and feel as close to my actual setup as possible.
This pack gives you the full picture: the amps, the pedals, and the tone stack I rely on a lot right now. It’s the core of my sound, and now it’s yours to explore.

Why This Pack?
I didn’t put this together just to throw more captures out into the world—I put it together because this is one of the stereo setups I’ve been using a lot lately. It’s simple, reliable, and just feels right. Whether you’re tracking, jamming, or playing live, this should get you there fast.

2. FOLLOW ‘BRIANCARL’ ON CORTEX CLOUD
ONCE YOUR ORDER IS PLACED, OPEN THE CORTEX CLOUD APP (AVAILABLE FOR IOS AND ANDROID) AND FOLLOW BRIANCARL. THIS ALLOWS ME TO SEND THE CAPTURES DIRECTLY TO YOU.
3. RECEIVING YOUR CAPTURES
AS SOON AS I SEE YOUR ORDER AND CONFIRM THAT WE’RE CONNECTED ON THE APP, I’LL SEND OVER THE CAPTURES. YOU’LL FIND THEM IN THE ‘SHARED WITH ME’ SECTION ON YOUR QUAD CORTEX.
